The term ‘acoustic walls’ covers two concepts. The first is correcting reverberation time with acoustic wall panels. The second is using walls to damp the transfer of sound between different rooms.

Acoustic walls or wall panels for reverberation correction can dramatically improve the reverberation time in a room. The material used for these acoustic walls is usually absorbent. Depending on the desired correction or sound orientation, however, it may sometimes also need a reflective or diffusing surface. Depending on your specific situation, we will advise you on the best choice.

At Form Design, we can create entire acoustic walls, but we might also opt to apply an extra damping layer to an existing construction. We use acoustic wall panels for sound-damping enclosures as well. To reduce your nuisance noise, the side facing the source is perforated. The outer side is not.
