Sound-damping materials are used for various purposes: to reduce the reverberation time in a room, to minimise the transfer of sound through a wall or ceiling and to damp contact sound. Various sound-damping materials can be used for each of the different applications. Furthermore, the construction of the various sound-damping materials is fundamentally different, and so it requires technical support.
Sound-damping techniques for optimal comfort
For soundproofing between offices, the mass-spring technique is used. The addition of mass provides most of the damping effect. If there are problems with reverberation time, we apply sound-damping material to walls or ceilings. Adapted furnishings are also an option. That means things like acoustic panels or an acoustic ceiling. To improve your acoustic comfort, we combine the two techniques.
